F1. Deep breathing does not mean good breathing. When we breathe too deep, we go into respiratory alkalosis, which means that we don’t have enough oxygen in our cells.

2. Good breathing has nothing to do with breathing mechanics. If your breathing is slow, fast, deep, shallow, diaphragmatic does not lead you to good breathing habits. Good breathing means a stable respiratory chemical axis and that can only be attained by letting the respiration do its job.

3. Stimulating your breathing and breathing techniques might help you feel good, but they will not make you healthy. Manipulating our breathing interferes with our respiratory system which causes serious long term and short-term effects on our health.

4. Learning to let go and surrender to life our life force energy, which is breath itself allows us to have a healthy breathing habit which can be obtained by working on our dysfunctional/unnatural/unhealthy breathing habits.

5. Understanding our breathing allows us to analyse and learn how we breathe to learn if it is a bad breathing habit which has been stored within us known as a dysfunctional breathing habit.  We support individuals on learning functional breathing habits, a functional, healthy breathing habit means a stable respiratory chemical axis, which can only be obtained if our respiration is controlled by our brain. Respiration should always be a brainstem reflex.
