1. Back in the early nineties, the first edition of ‘Wordshark’ was the first of its kind to combine reading and spelling skills with computer games!
2. Numbershark followed-on a few years later, to help with numeracy
3. The games-based programs are sold by word of mouth and used in half of schools in the UK as well as at home
4. There are Dutch versions of Wordshark and Numbershark!
5. The company ‘White Space Ltd’ was originally a lighting company creating specialist lighting for the BBC program ‘Pop goes the Sixties’ before (also successfully) turning to education!
