Liverpudlian piano prodigy and Channel 4’s The Piano winner Brad Kella is about to make musical history with a very special performance to launch his debut album. From playing John Lennon’s iconic piano to an exclusive giveaway for fans, here’s everything you need to know.
1. Brad Will Be Performing on John Lennon’s Legendary Piano
Taking place on Friday 28 March at 7pm, Brad Kella will become the first person in over a decade to play the final piano ever used by John Lennon. Displayed at The Beatles Story in Liverpool since 2015, this historic instrument was last played by Lennon just hours before his death in 1980. It has also been used by musical greats including David Bowie, Elton John and Bob Dylan. This once-in-a-lifetime performance will bring new music to one of the most important instruments in pop culture.
2. Free, Intimate Performance – Tickets Will Go Fast
This exclusive album launch event is free, but space is limited and demand will be high. Tickets will be available via Jacaranda Records at 10am on Friday 21 March. Fans can sign up now to receive an alert when they go live. Expect an intimate setting, a unique musical atmosphere, and a chance to be part of music history.
3. Exclusive Bonus CD and Signed Prints for Pre-Orders
All fans who pre-order Brad’s upcoming debut album from Jacaranda Records will receive a bonus CD featuring a live recording from the event, along with exclusive signed prints. This special offer makes the album launch even more memorable for those lucky enough to be there.
4. Brad Kella is Touring with Gary Barlow This Summer
Following his sold-out debut shows at the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall and London’s Purcell Room, Brad will be hitting the road as a special guest on Gary Barlow’s UK tour. Spanning from April to June, Brad will perform at iconic venues such as the Royal Albert Hall, Glasgow’s SEC Armadillo, and Manchester’s O2 Apollo, introducing his music to thousands of new fans.
5. A Story of Resilience and Rising Talent
Brad’s rise to fame is as inspiring as his music. From a childhood in the foster system and periods of homelessness to winning The Piano with his raw, emotional performances, Brad’s story continues to resonate. His debut album – to be officially announced on 28 March – will feature heartfelt tracks including Eve & Frank (a tribute to his foster parents), Home To Me (inspired by Liverpool FC), and Reverie of Isolation, which reflects his deep connection with the piano.

Don’t miss this once-in-a-generation performance.
