5 Reasons to See Josh Thomas’s Jiggle Jiggle at Underbelly Boulevard Soho

London Comedy | 4 – 8 November 2026

Josh Thomas, the creator and star of the Emmy-nominated Please Like Me, is bringing his new stand-up show Jiggle Jiggle to London for five nights at Underbelly Boulevard Soho. Here are five reasons to go.

1. The creator of Please Like Me

Please Like Me, inspired by Josh’s own life, became a much-loved queer TV classic and was nominated for an International Emmy and a GLAAD Media Award. He followed it with the acclaimed Everything’s Gonna Be Okay.

2. An hour of pure silliness

After years of tackling big issues on screen, Josh promises an hour of “dumb, happy, in no way important” stand-up. As he puts it: “This year I just want to have fun. Jiggle, jiggle.”

3. Rave reviews in Australia

The Guardian Australia called the show “disarmingly relatable” with four stars, and Time Out Sydney described it as “wicked-smart but infinitely endearing”. One reviewer said audiences were gasping for air from laughing.

4. A comedy veteran at 20 years in

Josh won Australia’s top comedy competition, Raw Comedy, at just 17 and was a finalist in So You Think You’re Funny at the Edinburgh Fringe. Two decades later, he’s at the top of his game.

5. A rare London run

The London dates are midway through a global tour that also visits Bristol, Cambridge, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Brighton, Sheffield and Northampton. Five nights in an intimate Soho venue is a great chance to see him up close.
