Join Cult favourite peanut butter brand ManiLife and Ruben Dawnay from popular London smokehouse Ruben’s Reubens for an exclusive collaboration during Ruben’s summer BBQ residency at Rye by the Water. This special event will only take place for one weekend, on Friday 14th July and Sunday 16th July.
Ruben will be serving up a mouthwatering Mani BBQ Pork Bahn Mi, featuring succulent barbecued pork infused with ManiLife’s award-winning deep roast smooth peanut butter and accompanied by pickled vegetables. This unique combination of flavors promises an incredible culinary experience.
For just £12 per dish, peanut butter enthusiasts can indulge in the Mani BBQ Pork Bahn Mi along with some delicious sides at the picturesque Rye by the Water. The tranquil surroundings of the venue provide the perfect backdrop for this exceptional food collaboration.

Ruben Dawnay, the mastermind behind Ruben’s Reubens, emerged from the lockdown period with a passion for smoking meats and curing fish in his parents’ Brixton garden. Inspired by his Polish-Jewish heritage, he created Ruben’s Reubens. His culinary skills have gained recognition, including being named one of CODE Hospitality’s 30 under 30 rising stars to watch. Ruben has hosted successful pop-ups across the city, excelled in the meal kit trend, and even served tacos at Meatopia 2022.
