Celebrate World Gin Day by going on a Gin Journey with Mr Fogg’s
This year, in celebration of World Gin Day, Victorian bar collection, Mr Foggs are joining forces with Bombay Sapphire, inviting guests on a gin journey around London, to celebrate the spirit of the summer. On Thursday 7th June, guests are invited to take part in a gin tasting tipple adventure on Bombay Sapphire Tuk Tuks, travelling between Mr Foggs Gin Parlour, Mr Foggs Tavern and Mr Foggs Mayfair Residence. Each cocktail tasted along the way uses a different method of creativity, to showcase how flavour and colour together can enhance each drink. Mr Foggs highlight the colour yellow throughout each drink, using edible paint and yellow coloured garnishes such as lemon twists and ginger candies stir creativity.
Beginning the Gin Journey at Mr Foggs Gin Parlour in Covent Garden, each guest will be given their first Bombay Sapphire gin tipple, Bang Up to the Elephant using Bombay Sapphire, Malic Acid, Bergamot syrup, Sencha Green Tea and soda water. Guests will then be taken downstairs to Mr Foggs Tavern for some filling fodder from their fantastic Bill of Fare, served alongside their First Rate G & T tasting tipple made using; Bombay Sapphire Gin, Citric and Malic acid blend, simple syrup, orange and mandarin bitters, topped off with Fentimans soda, the perfect libation for a summers evening.
Venturing out of Covent Garden and through the hustle and bustle of London streets, guests will be transported through town on Bombay Sapphire Tuk Tuks, passing iconic London landmarks on route, before arriving at Phileas Foggs abode, Mr Foggs Residence. Upon arrival at the last stop on the gin journey, guests are treated to the refreshing The Global Pursuit cocktail of Bombay Sapphire Gin, Domaine de Canton, Ginger Liqueur, Lemongrass and Ginger Cordial, Cardamom bitter, fresh Lemon and Tonic Water all topped with a lemon twist and ginger candy.
Throughout the weekend Mr Foggs Tavern will be serving up their First Rate G & G, using Bombay Sapphire Gin, Citric and Malic acid blend, simple syrup, orange and mandarin bitters, topped off with Fentimans soda, a true highlight on the landlady’s liquor menu all weekend.
