5 Fabulous Festive Nights Out at Woolwich Works, From Drag the Halls to Disco Orchestrated

Christmas 2026 | 28 November – 19 December

Looking for a Christmas night out that’s a little different? Woolwich Works, at the historic Royal Arsenal in south-east London, has a festive programme packed with drag, disco, cabaret and karaoke. Here are five nights to put in the diary.

1. Disco Orchestrated (Saturday 28 November)

The festive season kicks off with Brixton Chamber Orchestra turning disco favourites into a full live orchestral celebration. With a 19-piece ensemble and four vocalists, it’s an evening made for dancing and singing along, and a brilliant way to start the Christmas party season. All ages are welcome, with tickets from £18.

2. Drag the Halls (Thursday 10 December)

At the heart of the programme is Drag the Halls, presented by LGBTQ+ Greenwich. The returning queer cabaret variety show brings together drag queens, kings and things alongside burlesque, clowning, comedy and live singing, celebrating the creativity of the local LGBTQ+ community. Tickets start at just £11.50, and it’s 18+.

3. Drag Bingo UK: Festive Edition (Friday 11 December)

The following night, Drag Bingo UK brings its riotous mix of bingo, drag entertainment and seasonal mischief. It’s a great option for an alternative office Christmas party or a night out with friends, with tickets from £25 (18+).

4. Free Christmas karaoke (Friday 18 December)

Karaoke at the Works returns with a Christmas Special, hosted by cabaret characters Binkie and Maud. It’s free, welcomes younger singers earlier in the evening from 6.30pm, and then becomes an adults-only singalong. Warm up your vocal cords for “All I Want for Christmas”.

5. Santa’s Silent Disco: Ages 18 to 118 (Saturday 19 December)

Finish the season in the Fireworks Factory with three DJs, festive anthems and plenty of dancing, a fun last get-together before Christmas. Tickets are from £17.50. Woolwich Works is easy to reach on the Elizabeth line, DLR or Thames Clipper, so getting home is easy too. Families should also check out its Santa’s Grotto and family shows.
