The producers of the global sensation & Juliet are thrilled to announce that Dr Ranj Singh will make his musical theatre debut in the role of Lance for the upcoming UK and Ireland tour. The tour kicks off at the Manchester Opera House on 8 July 2024. Dr Ranj joins a stellar cast that includes Matt Cardle as Shakespeare, Gerardine Sacdalan as Juliet, Lara Denning as Anne, Sandra Marvin as Angelique, and many more talented performers.

2. A New Chapter for Dr Ranj Singh

Known as one of the UK’s most recognised medics and TV presenters, Dr Ranj Singh is embarking on a new chapter in his career. His passion for music and dance began in 2018 when he competed in BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing. He later wowed audiences on ITV All Star Musicals, leading to his sold-out West End show Scrubs to Sparkles. Dr Ranj’s excitement about joining & Juliet is palpable: “I am absolutely overjoyed to be making my musical theatre debut in & Juliet… I can’t wait to work with the incredible Luke Sheppard and the entire creative team and have the time of my life this year.”

3. About the Musical & Juliet

& Juliet is a fresh and hilarious take on the classic tale of Romeo and Juliet. Created by David West Read, the Emmy-winning writer from Schitt’s Creek, the musical imagines what would happen if Juliet chose her own path instead of following the tragic end of Shakespeare’s play. Featuring a playlist of pop anthems by Max Martin, including hits like Britney Spears’ “…Baby One More Time” and Katy Perry’s “Roar,” the show promises a vibrant and uplifting experience that celebrates life and second chances.
