
- Decca Records has released Andrew Lloyd Webber’s special anthem “Make a Joyful Noise” in honor of the coronation of King Charles III.
- The song features The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, The Choir of Westminster Abbey, The Fanfare Trumpeters of the Royal Air Force, and The Westminster Abbey Sub-Organist Peter Holder.
- The lyrics of the song adapt Psalm 98: “Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, the King.”
- On the day of coronation, 6,000 churches across England will receive sheet music for the song to sing in their church services in the coming weeks.
- A portion of the proceeds from the sales of the song will be donated to The Royal British Legion Trading Limited and the charity Age UK
