5 things dines at Manchester House, Spinningfields, Manchester City Centre

DSCN0194

We recently had lunch (not for the first time) at Manchester House restaurant in the up and come Spinningfields area of the city. This restaurant is ultra modern, incredibly welcoming and keeps in our opinion getting better and better. Food is served perfectly with perhaps the best presentation we have ever seen. The Michelin star circling above Manchester house must given a chance to land soon – who is listening?

One

Choose from a ten course or four course tasting menu. You can also have each course perfectly paired with wine – the wine flight seems like a good option to us and takes away all the hard work of choosing. Don’t worry you won’t be poured a large glass  with each course so you can still enjoy your meal with good focus.

Two

If you can’t have your meal without cheese then you can supplement your tasting menu with a cheese trolley. A vegetarian tasting menu is also available if you wish. The cheese trolley is available for £15.

Three

If fourteen courses daunt you ( and it is quite a lot) then you could opt for the A La Carte menu. This will allow you to choose exactly what you want to eat. Braised flank of beef, Txogitxu tartare and choucroute anyone?

Four

Choose two courses, three courses or ten courses from the lunch time menu. Think Rose veal tartare, fermented turnips, truffle and watercress or Carpet clam with lamb tartare and lovage.

Five

Enjoy fantastic views of Manchester in the lounge on Tower 12. Let the sun stream in and enjoy afternoon tea or a cocktail or two. Manchester house also has an outside terrace for real atmosphere. This area can also be booked for outside functions.
