What is your blog about?

It is a lifestyle and travel blog in which I also explore current fashions, especially my obsession with shoes. I wanted to create a place to celebrate all the beautiful shoes out there, as for me shoes are the most important part of an outfit and should never be an afterthought. I usually buy the shoes first and then look for an outfit to match them

What inspired you to start your blog?

Writing has always been a passion of mine and I was penning stories as soon as I could physically write. I am a shoe and general fashion addict and thought why not combine the two passions. A friend actually gave me the final push to set up the blog.

When did you start your blog?

I began in April 2011 when I moved out of home and in with my boyfriend who is now my husband and a great supporter of my work. When I started I was navigating my 20โ€™s and now Iโ€™m in my 30โ€™s but I hope my blog can adapt and grow with me, after all fashion is relevant whatever age you are.

How do you motivate yourself to keep the blog up and running?

I donโ€™t need to motivate myself because I so enjoy doing it โ€“ ideas come into my head long before I start tapping at my keyboard; although finding sufficient time to devote to it can be challenging!

What do you find the most frustrating aspect of blogging?

Getting recognition โ€“ although I fundamentally blog for myself as I enjoy it โ€“ it would be nice to get more feedback from like-minded bloggers and get it shared by them to expand the reader base; some interest from companies in terms of advertising and invites to media events would be very welcome too.

In the future where do you hope your blog will take you?

I hope blogging can become my full time job. I have started to gain access to media libraries and hope to soon set up my own URL so that I can personalize my site more.

Have you met anyone interesting/famous on your blogging journey?

Not as yet but thereโ€™s still time! Ultimately would love to meet my idol Sarah Jessica Parker.

If you could do only โ€˜one thingโ€™ today then what would it be?

Spend the day with my Grandma who passed away two years ago โ€“ she inspired me to write a diary as a child and I feel like blogging is an extension of this. I owe the person I am to her.
