5 Reasons to Book JE L’AIME, the Immersive Theatre Show in a Real London Home, Before It Closes

London Theatre | Final dates until 7 November 2026

What if the party you walked into wasn’t quite the party you thought it was? JE L’AIME, an intimate immersive production from Blue Fondue, takes place in a real London home, and its run is entering its final weeks. Here are five reasons to grab a ticket.

1. A party that isn’t what it seems

You arrive as a new neighbour at what looks like a relaxed housewarming. Drinks are poured, food is shared and the conversation flows, until a toast reveals that hosts Liv and Vic are actually celebrating their wedding anniversary. As the evening unfolds, their memories begin to contradict each other, and the line between truth and imagination starts to unravel.

2. Only 20 guests a night

With just 20 people at each performance, it’s about as intimate as theatre gets. You move through the sleek, contemporary home’s living spaces as the story unfolds around you, making it feel private, immediate and beautifully real.

3. A story in four languages

The 70-minute performance moves between English, French, Hindi and Esperanto. Drawing on quantum mechanics, love and memory, it explores the unsettling idea that two people can share a life yet experience it in completely different ways. It’s written by award-winning playwright Tristan Bernays, whose Boudica was staged at Shakespeare’s Globe.

4. A whole evening, with wine and pizza

JE L’AIME is designed as a complete night out rather than a standard theatre trip. It starts with a glass of French wine or a cocktail and light bites, and afterwards you’re invited to stay for a second drink, pizza and conversation. The whole experience lasts around two hours.

5. Something genuinely different

If you’re looking for an unusual date night or a talking point with friends, this is it. Blue Fondue was founded by Ilma Tiki, co-founder of MailerLite and supporter of the Golden Lion-winning Venice Biennale piece Sun & Sea. Tickets are £75 per person, including drinks and food, and with so few places, they’re strictly limited.
