Greenwich has a new spot for pizza night. Caprinos Pizza, one of the UK’s fastest-growing pizza brands, has opened its sixth London store on Trafalgar Road, and there are big discounts all week. Here are five things to know.
1. Half price tomorrow
To celebrate the opening, the full menu is 50% off on Thursday 15 October. Then it’s 25% off everything from Friday 16 to Sunday 18 October.
2. Bold flavour combinations
Caprinos is known for innovative toppings. Favourites include the Asian Classic Mix with tandoori chicken and the Caprinos Special with tandoori chicken and spicy beef, alongside newer flavours like Chorizo Legend and Hot Honey Pesto.
3. Detroit-style and dessert pizzas
As well as classic pizzas made with a closely guarded dough recipe, there’s a Detroit pizza format and a range of chocolate dessert pizzas, plus loaded fries, wraps, salads and milkshakes.
4. An award-winning brand
Founded in 2014 by former KFC and Welcome Break executives, Caprinos now has more than 100 UK sites and has won the PAPA Community and Social Responsibility Award for its charity work.
5. Handy for a Greenwich day out
Trafalgar Road is a short walk from Greenwich Park and the Cutty Sark, so it’s an easy, good-value option for families during half term.
