Christmas 2026 | Wednesday 18 November, from 5pm
There’s a 100% chance of snow in the City this November. BOXHALL City, the food hall near Liverpool Street, is bringing back its Deck The Halls Christmas lights switch-on with a new, bigger immersive experience. Here are five things to know.
1. Guaranteed snowfall
At 7pm, BOXHALL officially lights up for Christmas with a magical snowfall that turns the venue into a winter wonderland, whatever the weather outside. It’s a fun festive moment right in the heart of the City.
2. Festive food from 13 kitchens
From 5pm, you can grab a drink and something to eat from BOXHALL’s 13 global kitchens, all serving festive specials, alongside Christmas cocktails at the bars.
3. Live music until late
After the switch-on, the party continues with live music and entertainment until late, making it an easy after-work plan with colleagues or friends.
4. A historic Edwardian setting
The 17,000 sq ft food hall sits inside the historic Metropolitan Arcade, a former Edwardian shopping arcade, so the setting is as atmospheric as the snow.
5. More Christmas events to come
The switch-on kicks off a full festive programme, including Festive Bottomless Brunches from Saturday 21 November, wreath-making workshops and festive cocktail masterclasses. Tickets for Deck The Halls are available now, and booking ahead is recommended.
