London Dance | November 2026
Sadler’s Wells has a packed November across its London venues, with tango, kathak, contemporary dance, ballet and a festive family favourite. Here are five shows to book.
1. Tango After Dark (5 – 9 November)
World Tango Champion Germán Cornejo returns with his company for this internationally acclaimed love letter to Argentine tango. It’s sultry, dramatic and a great night out even if you’ve never seen dance before. At Sadler’s Wells Theatre in Islington.
2. BalletBoyz: Six Lethargies (18 – 21 November)
Now in their 25th year, BalletBoyz present a world premiere exploring the role of music and dance in mental health recovery, performed with a 37-piece orchestra.
3. Lost Dog: The Last Hamlet (4 – 7 November)
At Sadler’s Wells East in Stratford, Ben Duke’s award-winning Lost Dog reimagines Shakespeare’s Hamlet with a sharply meta twist, with Duke himself in the title role. Also at the East venue, HUMANHOOD’s immersive Vortex returns from 10 to 14 November after a sold-out run.
4. Kathak and contemporary dance
Delhi-based Aditi Mangaldas brings WITHIN, a double bill of classical and contemporary kathak (27 – 28 November). Emanuel Gat’s Five Days in the Sun is set to Mahler’s Fifth Symphony (3 – 4 November), and Rose International Dance Prize winner Christos Papadopoulos presents My Fierce Ignorant Step (13 – 14 November).
5. Christmas starts early
Birmingham Rep’s new production of The Snowman comes to the Peacock Theatre in the West End from 21 November to 3 January, and ZooNation’s hip hop Ebony Scrooge returns to Sadler’s Wells East from 24 November. There’s also a free IRIE! dance takeover celebrating African and Caribbean dance on 28 November.
