London Food & Drink | Friday 9 October 2026
Bake Off fans, this one’s for you. Sandro Farmhouse, one of the best-loved bakers from The Great British Bake Off, has teamed up with Italo-English bakery Signorelli to create a limited-edition Tiramisu Cookie. Here are five things to know.
1. Meet Sandro this Friday
On Friday 9 October, Sandro will be baking on site at Signorelli’s new Broadgate bakery near Liverpool Street and meeting customers. He won viewers over in the 2022 series with his ambitious bakes and infectious personality, and has since baked for Stormzy and Perrie Edwards.
2. The first 20 cookies are free
To celebrate the launch, the first 20 Tiramisu Cookies will be completely free. After that they cost £5.50, so get there early if you want one on the house.
3. Italy’s favourite dessert as a cookie
The cookie takes inspiration from tiramisu, turning it into a generous, chunky bakery treat. Sandro says the flavour instantly feels indulgent and comforting, which makes it perfect for autumn. It’s available at Broadgate throughout October.
4. A new hidden bakery in the City
Broadgate is Signorelli’s first bakery outside East London. Expect freshly baked cakes, buttery pastries, chunky cookies, generously filled focaccia sandwiches and Italian coffee, with aperitivi in the evening.
5. A bakery with heart
Founded by husband and wife Rebecca and Alberto Signorelli in Stratford in 2015, the bakery makes everything from scratch, works with small suppliers and runs a women-led, neurodivergent-friendly Bakehouse that avoids midnight baking as part of its mental-health-first approach.
