5 Things to Know About Live At Chelsea 2027: Bananarama, Jack Savoretti and Patti Smith

London Music | 9 – 13 June 2027

One of London’s most beautiful outdoor concert series is back. Live At Chelsea returns to the historic grounds of the Royal Hospital Chelsea for five nights next June, and the first acts have just been announced. Here are five things to know.

1. Bananarama, Jason Donovan and T’Pau (Friday 11 June)

Bananarama celebrate 40 years since their album Wow!, which gave us “Love In The First Degree” and “I Heard A Rumour”, plus hits like “Cruel Summer” and “Venus”. They’re joined by Jason Donovan, of “Especially For You” fame, and T’Pau, whose “China In Your Hand” spent five weeks at Number One. It’s the ultimate 80s night out.

2. Jack Savoretti (Saturday 12 June)

Twenty years after his debut album, Jack Savoretti headlines on the Saturday. His last two studio albums both went straight to Number One, and he’s sold out two nights at the Royal Albert Hall, so expect a big, soulful show.

3. Patti Smith Quartet (Sunday 13 June)

The Godmother of Punk turns 80 this year. Patti Smith closes the weekend with songs like “Gloria”, “Because The Night” and “People Have The Power”. Her first London show, at the Roundhouse in 1976, is widely credited with helping spark the British punk explosion.

4. A stunning, intimate setting

The series transforms the grounds of Sir Christopher Wren’s Royal Hospital Chelsea, home of the Chelsea Pensioners and the Chelsea Flower Show, into a fully seated open-air venue by the Thames. Past performers include Tom Jones, Paul Weller and The Beach Boys, and part of the proceeds supports the care of the Chelsea Pensioners.

5. Tickets go on sale this week

The artist presale opens at 10am on Wednesday 7 October, the priority presale at 10am on Thursday 8 October, and general sale at 10am on Friday 9 October. More acts for 9 and 10 June are still to be announced.
