5 Things You Need to Know About Oh Zeus! on Tour in 2026

Much-loved comedy theatre company Le Navet Bete are heading back on tour with a brand new show, Oh Zeus! – a fast, furious and laugh-out-loud journey through Greek mythology. Here are five things you need to know.

1. It’s a brand new Greek mythology comedy

Oh Zeus! is an all-out hilarious ride through the world of Ancient Greece, the Underworld and Mount Olympus. When Zeus’ daughter Hebe announces her marriage to a mere mortal, chaos ensues as the King of the Gods hatches a plan to stop the wedding at all costs.

2. Three actors play 40 characters

In classic Le Navet Bete style, just three performers take on around 40 characters in a whirlwind of fast-paced physical comedy. Expect lightning-quick costume changes, outrageous character work and barely controlled chaos from start to finish.

3. It’s created by a top comedy team

Le Navet Bete have teamed up with Olivier Award-nominated writer and director John Nicholson (The Time Machine: A Comedy) to bring this new show to the stage. The result is a high-energy farce packed with visual gags, sharp writing and ridiculous humour.

4. Perfect for fans of classic British farce

If you love Fawlty Towers, Bottom or The Play That Goes Wrong, this show should be right up your street. Expect sensational physical comedy, outrageous jokes, fast-paced mayhem and more togas than you can smash a plate at.

5. Touring UK theatres from March 2026

Oh Zeus! tours UK theatres from March 2026, with performances confirmed in Barnstaple, Exeter, Ipswich, Lichfield, York, Doncaster, Salford and Poole. While the show is suitable for ages 12+, selected venues will also host ‘no kids allowed’ performances with extra adult humour.
