5 Things to Do in London This Halloween – Ally Pally Fireworks & Drone Festival 2025

The UK’s biggest fireworks celebration is back! The Ally Pally Fireworks & Drone Festival 2025 returns to Alexandra Palace for two spectacular nights on Friday 31 October and Saturday 1 November 2025. With dazzling displays, live entertainment, and a full festival atmosphere, here are five reasons not to miss this unmissable London event.

1. Experience London’s Biggest Fireworks and Drone Display

Set against panoramic views of the city skyline, this world-class fireworks show is always a highlight of the London calendar. Before the fireworks, an awe-inspiring drone show will light up the sky in perfect sync with music — guaranteed to give you goosebumps as hundreds of drones dance above the Palace.

2. Enjoy the Ultimate Halloween Party

This year’s festival embraces a full-on Halloween theme across both nights, complete with a fancy dress competition, spooky bonfire, and themed entertainment throughout the grounds. Expect plenty of tricks, treats, and eerie surprises — all perfect for families and fancy-dress fans alike.

3. Discover Ghost Tours of the Palace Theatre

New for 2025, visitors can take part in after-dark Ghost Tours through Alexandra Palace’s atmospheric Victorian theatre. Step behind the curtain to uncover chilling legends, haunted tales, and the spine-tingling origins of theatrical superstitions whispered for centuries.

4. Dance, Eat and Drink at the Festival

From street food and craft beer to live DJ sets, the festival offers a proper party atmosphere. The open-air StrEATlife Village features top London food stalls, while garage legends DJ Luck & MC Neat headline the music line-up. For those heading indoors, the Great Hall transforms into the UK’s largest German Bier Festival, with oompah bands, live music and tribute acts including Fearlessly Taylor (Friday) and The Dolly Show (Saturday).

5. Family Fun and Ice Skating

Families can enjoy a huge funfair, live entertainment in the Café De Pally big top, and ice skating sessions inside the Palace — including a themed ice disco both nights. With activities across 196 acres, there’s something for everyone to enjoy at the People’s Palace.
