- Catch and Release
- Dawn Villa
- Who’s Illegal?
- Kindness for Weakness
- Sweet Jessie James
- Pass Through Filters
- The Living Lens
3. Meet the New Lineup
This album marks the first lineup change for Little King since 2019. Joining frontman Ryan Rosoff (guitar, vocals) are Tony Bojorquez on drums from San Carlos, MX — a dynamic performer who once busked professionally in New York City — and David Hamilton on bass and cello, a long-time collaborator. Laura Sadie Bette from the band Curfew adds backing vocals on select tracks.
4. The Sound and Story of Lente Viviente
Translated from Spanish as “Living Lens,” Lente Viviente explores memory, truth, and perception — the delicate balance between what we see and what we remember. Themes range from childhood and friendship (Catch and Release, Dawn Villa) to immigration and identity (Who’s Illegal?), addiction (Pass Through Filters), and vulnerability (Kindness for Weakness).
It’s an album of contrasts — both personal and universal — brought to life through dynamic arrangements and textured performances that reflect the sharp edges and soft light of life.
5. Behind the Music – Recording and Production
Lente Viviente was recorded between April and June 2025 at Cimamusic in Tucson, AZ, with engineer Ricky Wascher Tavares. The album was mixed by Daniel Salcido at Command Space Audio in Los Angeles and mastered by Maor Appelbaum at Maor Appelbaum Mastering.
This marks Little King’s first studio project recorded outside of Texas and continues the band’s tradition of sonic evolution while staying true to its roots.
