1. Cutty Sark, Greenwich (Mile 6.5)
- Estimated Runner Arrival: Around 9:50–10:30 AM
- Why It’s Great: This historic ship provides a picturesque backdrop as runners pass by. The area is known for its vibrant atmosphere, with bands and cheer zones enhancing the experience.
- Travel Tips: Cutty Sark DLR station will be entry-only on race day, with potential queues up to 90 minutes. Consider using nearby stations like Deptford, Greenwich, or Maze Hill and walking to the viewing area. More info
2. Tower Bridge (Mile 12.5)
- Estimated Runner Arrival: Around 10:30–11:15 AM
- Why It’s Great: One of London’s most iconic landmarks, Tower Bridge offers a dramatic setting as runners cross the Thames. The atmosphere here is electric, making it a favourite among spectators.

3. Canary Wharf (Miles 15–19)
- Estimated Runner Arrival: Around 11:15 AM–12:30 PM
- Why It’s Great: Located in the heart of London’s financial district, this area features towering skyscrapers and enthusiastic crowds. It’s also a great spot to grab a coffee while cheering on the participants.
- Travel Tips: Canary Wharf stations will be very busy. Consider using the Elizabeth Line or nearby stations like Crossharbour or South Quay. More info
4. The Highway, Wapping (Miles 13 & 22)
- Estimated Runner Arrival: Around 10:45 AM and 12:30 PM
- Why It’s Great: This stretch allows spectators to see runners twice due to the out-and-back nature of the course. A great spot if you’re following a specific runner.

5. The Mall, Near Buckingham Palace (Finish Line)
