Mark your calendars for 12th November, when Covent Garden will light up the night with its magnificent decorations. The switch-on event promises a magical atmosphere as the iconic 55-foot Christmas tree and the surrounding areas are illuminated, kicking off a seven-week festive program.

2. Dazzling New Lighting Schemes

This year, Covent Garden introduces a brand-new lighting scheme throughout the Seven Dials neighbourhood. Nearly 260,000 LED lights will adorn the Piazza, Seven Dials, and surrounding streets, including an additional 150,000 lights gracing Neal’s Yard. The decorations will feature 40 gigantic bells with bows, 12 giant baubles, and 8 spinning mirror balls, adding sparkle to every corner.
