Cornish Riviera, Cornwall

While the Atlantic Highway offers no shortage of coastal views, there isn’t really much in the way of beach to enjoy. If it’s sandcastles and swimming that you’re looking for, then you’ll want to instead head south, to the Cornish Riviera. Against a backdrop of white clay mountains, you’ll be able to cruise through an array of picturesque little seaside villages, as well as larger towns like St Agnes, with its famous four beaches.

Forest of Dean, The Cotswolds

The Cotswolds are synonymous with the English countryside, but it’s the Forest of Dean that should really concern most motorhome travellers. This ancient woodland has provided the sets for a variety of TV and film productions – but you’ll need to travel here at the right time of year if you want to get the best from it.

The Lake District, Cumbria

If you’re looking for an outdoor experience of the kind that only a motorhome can provide, then it makes sense to plan a trip to England’s largest National Park. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is a treasure trove of natural beauty, being covered with gorgeous lakes, which are overlooked by beautiful hills and forests. Perfect for hikers.
