5 things to do to increase your fertility by Fertility Coach & Hypnotherapist Karena Ackrill

Fertility Coach & Hypnotherapist Karena Ackrill explains 5 things to do to get pregnant naturally

One

It has been proven in numerous studies that taking a good quality multi vitamin & mineral supplement, including Vitamins C, D, E and B complex, plus zinc, selenium and CoQ10, can be beneficial for creating healthy eggs & womb lining in women; and healthy sperm in men.

Two

Consider having a hypnotherapy session and/or hiring a fertility coach to help.

The majority of the subconscious mind is created in young childhood and any emotional reactions or decisions made at that point, could affect the messages that the brain is sending to the body in adulthood. A hypnotherapy session can help to find out if there are any subconscious blocks that are preventing pregnancy; which can then be removed.  (This is particularly important if you have been trying to conceive unsuccessfully for more than 12 months).

(A study carried out by Dr Peter Quinn, a pioneer in the field of Fertility, used hypnotherapy with a group of women between the ages of 26 and 42 who had durations of infertility lasting from 2-12 years. 65% of the women went on to have a successful full-term pregnancy after hypnotherapy. Dr P Quinn & M Pawson “Psychosomatic Infertility”, European Journal of Clinical Hypnosis Vol4 1994).

Consider consulting a dietician to review your diet. Many studies have found that consuming the optimum amount of protein and essential fatty acids each day, which are important for producing high quality eggs, can have a very positive impact on your fertility.

In addition, to avoid stress on your body, eat as much organic fresh food & as little processed foods as possible, using natural toiletries that are free from parabens; and avoiding alcohol, cigarettes and caffeine stimulants, are all known to have a positive affect on your fertility.

Four

Create a vision board and “affirm” daily that you are “having a baby” or “preparing for a baby”.

Simply using the phrasing “trying” to conceive, implies to the subconscious mind that it may not happen:

As a law of attraction coach, I teach my clients to get into the energy of FEELING and being pregnant, in order to attract it; so creating a vision of it, looking at this vision before sleep and as soon as you wake; as well as affirming it daily and being mindful of the wording you tell yourself daily, can positively affect your subconscious thoughts; which can affect your fertility.

Five

Take a break or have a regular “date night”.

Have you ever heard of friends or family members who say they got pregnant while on holiday because they took their focus off conceiving and relaxed?

Consider what you can do to connect with your partner, which could help to reduce the stress surrounded with infertility.

Don’t underestimate the power of simply taking time out together, just to enjoy each other’s company. Trying to conceive can be stressful which can have a negative impact on the body, so it is very important to do your best to remove stress in whichever way you can.
