Le Pont de la Tour is partnering with the famed wine preservation system, Coravin, to host a series of three exclusive fine wine tasting events, launching on Wednesday 13 April in Le Pont de la Tour’s atmospheric wine cellar. Head Sommelier Michele Orbolato and an ambassador from Coravin will lead guests through a bespoke flight of fine wines, rarely available by the glass and for one night only accessed via Coravin’s Pivot System technology. The evening will focus on sampling different expressions of the same grape variety, including a comparison of Chardonnay from Burgundy and California, a comparison of Pinot Noir from Burgundy and California, and finally two Bordeaux blends, one from Margaux, alongside a Super Tuscan. Tickets are priced at £180pp and include the fine wine tasting, canapes from Executive Chef Tony Fleming and the Coravin Pivot System to take home – offering Le Pont de la Tour customers the revolutionary system at a significant discount given its current retail price of£139.99.
