Enjoy a pint of real ale at The Piccadilly Tap about a minutes walk from Manchester’s Piccadilly station. They serve a massive range of ales if that’s your thing. Turn right out of the station down the hill. The tap is on your right.
If you find yourself in Surrey then you will be hard pushed to find a better burger than the one served at The Albert Arms in Esher. This can be ordered at the bar. The Albert also has a fantastic restaurant at the back of the bar.
Close to Esher in East Molesey try a glass of wine in the newly opened wine bar , Signature on the up and coming Molesey High Street. They also serve a small range of food.
Stud an onion with cloves and make real bread sauce this Christmas. Add a bay leaf and don’t forget the double cream! Delia online has a good recipe for this.
Have Film and Fizz at One Aldwych. This is a partnership with Curzon Cinema. Three course meal, a film accompanied with popcorn and champagne – perfect!
