One of the most magical summer concert settings near London is back. Hampton Court Palace Festival has announced its first acts for June 2027, and tickets go on sale this week. Here are five things to know.
1. Robert Plant (Saturday 19 June)
The Led Zeppelin legend performs with his band Saving Grace and singer Suzi Dian. Formed in 2019, the group explores the roots of music, from blues and folk to gospel and country. Plant is fresh from a run of US dates and was honoured with a Lifetime Achievement Award at this year’s Americana Music Association Awards. Tickets start from £78.40.
2. Alison Moyet (Tuesday 22 June)
Alison Moyet started as a punk, became one half of synth-pop duo Yazoo, and had a number one solo album with Alf, all by the age of 23. She’s since released ten solo albums and won three BRIT Awards. At Hampton Court she’ll perform fan favourites, singles and deep cuts from her 45-year career. Tickets start from £67.20, making it the best-value night so far.
3. The Corrs (Wednesday 23 June)
The Irish siblings Andrea, Sharon, Caroline and Jim Corr have sold more than 40 million albums worldwide with their blend of pop rock, harmonies and Celtic folk. This is their only London show of summer 2027. Expect hits like “Breathless”, “Runaway” and “What Can I Do”. Tickets start from £140, so it’s likely to be one of the hottest tickets of the festival.
4. Kaiser Chiefs (Saturday 26 June)
Ricky Wilson and the Leeds indie rockers have sold more than 8 million albums and won three BRIT Awards and an Ivor Novello. Known for their infectious energy, they’ll bring a hit-packed set to the Tudor courtyard. Expect a singalong to “Ruby”, “I Predict A Riot”, “Oh My God” and “Everyday I Love You Less and Less”. Tickets start from £84.
5. Picnics in a Tudor palace
Now in its 32nd year, the festival takes place in Base Court, the palace’s intimate Tudor courtyard, which past performers including Elton John, Kylie and Tom Jones have played. Before the music, it’s tradition to picnic in the East Front Gardens, with street food also available. For a treat, there’s VIP dining in the State Apartments or a private fountain-side pergola. Pre-sale opens Thursday 5 November, general sale is Friday 6 November, and more acts are still to come.
