5 Things to Know About Claridge’s Christmas Treehouse 2026, Designed by Dame Anya Hindmarch

Christmas 2026 | Unveiled Wednesday 25 November

The Claridge’s Christmas tree is one of London’s most anticipated festive landmarks, and this year it is getting a magical twist. Designer Dame Anya Hindmarch is creating the first ever Claridge’s Christmas Treehouse. Here are five things to know.

1. A treehouse for the first time

For the first time in its history, the tree will be reimagined as a treehouse, nestled into the branches of a traditional fir strewn with twinkling lights. Hindmarch describes it as a little festive abode taking up residence in the famous Art Deco lobby.

2. Fairytale adventure and playful touches

Expect a nostalgic world of fairytale adventure, with the whimsical details, playful notes and sprinkling of magic that run through all of Hindmarch’s work. If you know her bags and her quirky Pont Street “Village”, you’ll have an idea of the wit to expect.

3. A personal connection

Hindmarch has a long history with the hotel. She celebrated her 21st birthday there, and says it has always been a place of special family celebrations, so designing the tree is a real honour for her.

4. In the footsteps of design legends

This is the sixteenth year that Claridge’s has invited a distinguished guest to design its tree. Previous designers include Karl Lagerfeld, Christian Louboutin, Sir Paul Smith and Diane von Furstenberg. The hotel has also hinted that there’s more to come from its partnership with Hindmarch next year.

5. Unveiled on 25 November

Hindmarch will unveil the Treehouse on the morning of Wednesday 25 November, marking the start of the festive season in Mayfair. Pair a visit with afternoon tea in The Foyer, a drink in The Fumoir, or a treat from the new Claridge’s Bakery.
