5 Things to Know About The Last Exchange’s 1,000 Free Pints at Liverpool Street

London Food & Drink | Opening week, 12 – 16 October 2026

The first round is on the house. The Last Exchange, the new British pub opening in Broadgate near Liverpool Street, is giving away 1,000 free pints to celebrate its arrival. Here’s what you need to know.

1. How to claim your free pint

It’s simple. Sign up on the pub’s website, and the first 1,000 people will receive an e-voucher. Show it at the bar and your first pint is free. Be quick, as once they’re gone, they’re gone.

2. Guinness or the house beer

You can choose a perfectly poured pint of Guinness or The City Scribbler, The Last Exchange’s own house beer.

3. Redeem it in opening week

Vouchers can be used during opening week, from Monday 12 to Friday 16 October, so make sure you plan your visit then.

4. £5 pints every day after that

Even after the giveaway, The City Scribbler is just £5 a pint, all day, every day, which is rare in the City. Stay for elevated pub food like battered oysters, a beef shin pie, or The Breville, a beef mince toastie with gravy for dipping.

5. More than an after-work pub

The Last Exchange is open from morning coffee on the terrace through lunch, after-work drinks and dinner, with private dining and Sunday roasts. For more, read our full guide to The Last Exchange.
