Film | UK premiere 31 October | DVD, Blu-ray and digital from 2 November
Zombies versus werewolves? Yes please. Dead Howling gets its UK premiere at Tubi FrightFest Halloween in London on 31 October. Here are five things to know.
1. An all-out monster showdown
In a world devastated by a zombie virus, Carter spends his nights hunting the living dead for sport with the help of a tremendous power. When he saves two siblings searching for a rumoured safe zone, he reluctantly agrees to protect them, but the undead are evolving, and other survivors are just as dangerous.
2. From the producers of cult horror hits
It comes from the producers of Dog Soldiers and Terrifier 3, so horror fans can expect brutal action and nightmarish creatures in a bleak, lawless wasteland.
3. A strong cast
The film stars Joel Jackson (Jungle), Ryan Kwanten (True Blood), Temuera Morrison (The Mandalorian) and Tom Burlinson, and is directed by John V. Soto.
4. Two Halloween night screenings
As part of FrightFest’s official selection, it screens twice on Halloween night, at 10.20pm and 10.45pm, at ODEON Luxe West End in Leicester Square. A late-night monster movie on 31 October is hard to beat.
5. Watch at home from 2 November
If you can’t make the premiere, it’s released on DVD, Blu-ray and digital (iTunes, Amazon, Sky, Google and Rakuten) from 2 November. It’s rated 15 and runs for 1 hour 43 minutes.
