London Family | Saturday 21 November 2026
The night sky above the Home of Cricket is about to come alive. WILD: The Drone Light Show makes its central London debut at Lord’s Cricket Ground on Saturday 21 November. It’s London’s first feature-length drone light show, and the first event of its kind ever staged at Lord’s. Early bird tickets end at midnight tonight (1 October).
Here are five reasons to book.
1. The animal kingdom in the sky
Hundreds of synchronised, illuminated drones trace the shapes of wild creatures across the night sky, from ocean giants to arctic wanderers, all choreographed to a cinematic score. The show lasts around 40 minutes, and seeing huge animals appear and move high above you is genuinely jaw-dropping, especially for children.
2. A first for Lord’s
Lord’s has more than 200 years of cricket history, but it has never hosted anything quite like this. Ticket holders sit at the Nursery End, looking across the famous main ground to the show above the Pavilion End, which gives everyone a brilliant view.
3. From the drone artists behind Glastonbury and New Year’s Eve
WILD is created with Celestial, the drone artists behind displays at Eurovision, Glastonbury and London’s New Year’s Eve celebrations, who were also runners-up on Britain’s Got Talent. It’s produced by Yuup, and the touring show has attracted more than 15,000 audience reviews with an average of 4.9 stars out of 5.
4. Great for all ages
The show is suitable for all ages, and under-3s go free with a paying adult. It makes a magical family night out in the run-up to Christmas, or a memorable date night. Gates open at 4.30pm and the show begins after dark at 6pm. Please note it includes flashing lights, so it may not suit people with light sensitivity.
5. Book early for the best price
Early bird tickets start from £27, but that price ends at midnight tonight. There are also early bird child and concession tickets, plus premium and hospitality options using Lord’s famous facilities.
