Gamers, this one’s for you. The music from hit hero shooter Marvel Rivals is coming to the stage for the very first time, with the Marvel Rivals Galactic Concert getting its world premiere at Indigo at The O2 on Thursday 22 October.
Here are five things to know.
1. London gets it first
This is the world premiere, so London fans will be the first anywhere to hear the game’s music performed live.
2. Rock band meets orchestra
The show pairs a live rock band with a full symphonic orchestra and powerful vocalists. The soundtrack has been reworked into new arrangements you won’t hear anywhere else.
3. Your favourite heroes on screen
Behind the musicians, high-definition visuals follow the heroes, villains and worlds of the Marvel Rivals universe, tying each piece of music to moments players will recognise from the game.
4. A soundtrack built for battle
The score, released as the album Galactic Tunes, was composed by Masahiro Aoki and arranged by Shota Nakama. It blends orchestra with heavy rock guitar, choir and driving drums, all built around the main theme “Rivals ‘Til the End”.
5. A game that’s become a phenomenon
Since launching in December 2024, NetEase’s free-to-play Marvel Rivals has broken player records on Steam and now has more than 50 playable characters. The concert is the first chance for its huge community to come together in one room.
