One of the biggest games of recent years is making history in London. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 – A Painted Symphony comes to The O2 on Sunday 28 February 2027, the first concert at the arena ever dedicated to a video game soundtrack.
Here are five things to know.
1. It’s a first for The O2
The O2 has hosted countless gigs, but never a concert devoted entirely to a video game’s music until now. That alone makes it a landmark night for gaming fans.
2. It’s the only UK date
London is the only UK stop on an international tour that also takes in Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona, the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam, Radio City Music Hall in New York and the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles. Earlier European concerts sold out.
3. The composer will be there
The show is led by composer Lorien Testard himself, with vocalist Alice Duport-Percier and Orchestre Curieux. Expect symphonic arrangements and powerful solo vocals created especially for the stage.
4. An award-winning soundtrack
Testard’s ethereal melodies and sweeping orchestrations are at the emotional heart of the game, and won Best Score and Music at The Game Awards.
5. The Game of the Year
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 was named Game of the Year at The Game Awards 2025 and became the most awarded game in the ceremony’s history. Hearing its music live is a chance to relive the adventure with thousands of fellow players.
