More than 160 years after Lewis Carroll first sent Alice down the rabbit hole, Wonderland is coming to life in London. Alice Immersive Wonderland makes its world premiere at Dock X in Canada Water on 13 November, inviting visitors to step inside the story and meet the White Rabbit, the Cheshire Cat, the Mad Hatter and the Queen of Hearts.

1. Ten immersive worlds to explore
Set across a huge 26,000 sq ft space, the 90-minute experience takes you through ten rooms. You’ll fall down the Rabbit Hole, wander the mind-bending Doors Room, and ponder “Who are you?” in the hypnotic Den of the Caterpillar. In the Rabbit House you’ll watch Alice change size, before getting lost in the Forest of the Cheshire Cat.
2. Live actors and games at the Queen’s Court
This isn’t just projections on a wall. The Mad Tea Party comes alive with illusions and characters caught in a loop of madness, and in the Queen’s Court you’ll meet her eccentric servants, played by live actors. You can play a game of chess and Flamingolf before reaching the Queen’s famous throne.
3. A spectacular 360° finale
The journey ends in the Hall of Dreams, where monumental 360° projection mapping brings Alice’s story to an emotional close. Along the way, comedian and broadcaster Paul Taylor hosts “Curiosity Keys” interludes with fun insights into Alice’s world.
4. Tea with a Wonderland twist
Make a day of it at The Alice Tea Party, an immersive tea room with themed treats such as cakes shaped like a white rabbit, a red rose or a mushroom. There’s also Lewis Castle, where you can learn about Lewis Carroll’s life and the story behind the book. The experience was developed with Oxford professor Robert Douglas-Fairhurst, a leading Lewis Carroll expert.
5. Great for all ages, and just in time for Christmas
It’s designed for everyone from young children to lifelong fans, and it opens just as the festive season starts, so it makes a great family day out or gift. Tickets start from £26 for adults and £19 for children aged 4+, with family tickets from £20 per person for groups of four to six.
