With Halloween parties, bonfire nights and the Christmas card rush all on the way, autumn is a busy season for celebrations. The Card Collection on Walton Road in East Molesey has been helping locals mark them since 1998. Here are five reasons to pop in.

Alongside the cards you’ll find Belgian chocolates, retro pick ‘n’ mix sweets and a selection of small gifts, so you can sort the card and the present in one stop. A bag of pick ‘n’ mix is also a very easy win for trick-or-treat season.

Gift wrap is on hand too, which makes the shop a handy first stop as the festive season gets closer and the Christmas card and wrapping list starts to grow.

Local families have used The Card Collection for their celebrations for years, and choosing an independent helps keep Molesey’s high street thriving. It’s an easy trip from Hampton Court, about half a mile from the station.
