Penn Jillette and Piff the Magic Dragon bring Piff & Pop’s Magic Shoppe to London

Penn Jillette and Piff the Magic Dragon are teaming up for a brand-new UK tour, with Piff & Pop’s Magic Shoppe coming to Indigo at The O2 in London on Tuesday 15 September 2026.

The show brings together two very different styles of magic, plenty of comedy and, of course, an appearance from Mr Piffles, Piff’s magic-performing Chihuahua.

Here are five things to know before you book.

1. Penn Jillette is performing without Teller

One of the most interesting things about this tour is that Penn Jillette will be appearing without Teller.

Penn has spent more than 50 years performing as one half of Penn & Teller, so Piff & Pop’s Magic Shoppe gives audiences a rare chance to see him in a completely different setting.

For the show, Penn becomes “Pop the Magic Dragon”, joining Piff in what is being billed as a rather unusual father-and-son magic partnership.

2. Piff the Magic Dragon is returning to the UK

Piff the Magic Dragon, whose real name is John van der Put, was born in Forest Hill in south-east London before building a hugely successful career in Las Vegas.

He became widely known through America’s Got Talent and has since performed more than 2,000 shows during his long-running residency at the Flamingo Las Vegas.

The tour marks his first UK performances in more than a decade, making the London show something of a homecoming.

3. The show mixes solo performances with a double act

The evening is split into two parts.

The first half gives both performers their own time on stage, with Penn bringing his distinctive storytelling and magic while Piff delivers his more eccentric mix of comedy and illusion.

Mr Piffles will also make an appearance.

In the second half, Penn and Piff join forces for a new double act, combining their very different approaches to magic for the finale.

4. Mr Piffles is part of the tour too

Piff would not really be Piff without Mr Piffles.

The Chihuahua has become a major part of Piff’s Las Vegas show and is described, with some confidence, as the world’s only magic-performing Chihuahua.

For anyone who likes their magic with a slightly ridiculous edge, Mr Piffles alone may be reason enough to be curious.

5. The London show is at Indigo at The O2 on 15 September

Piff & Pop’s Magic Shoppe comes to Indigo at The O2, London, on Tuesday 15 September 2026.

The full UK tour runs through September with dates in Bournemouth, Cardiff, Brighton, Birmingham, Manchester, York, Newcastle and Glasgow as well as London.

For London audiences looking for something a little different this September, this looks like a particularly unusual night out: two major Las Vegas magicians, one new double act and one very small Chihuahua.
