A murder mystery where absolutely anything can happen is heading to the UK. Siobhan Thompson’s Denouement brings together some of the biggest names from Dropout, Dimension 20, Smosh and the US improv scene for a six-date tour from 29 May to 5 June 2027.
Here are five things to know before booking.
1. Every night is a completely new murder mystery
There is no fixed script and no pre-planned solution.
Each performance is created entirely through improvisation, with Siobhan Thompson and the cast inventing a new detective, suspects, motives and murder story live on stage.
That means every audience sees something completely different.
Once the mystery is over, it will never be performed again.
2. The cast is packed with huge comedy names
Siobhan Thompson is joined by an impressive line-up of performers familiar to fans of Dropout, Dimension 20 and American improv.
The cast includes Vic Michaelis, Alex Fernie, Dhruv Uday Singh, Kimia Behpoornia, Grant O’Brien, John Milhiser, Jacquis Neal, Angela Giarratana, Cathryn Mudon and Ele Woods.
Their combined credits include Very Important People, Abbott Elementary, Saturday Night Live, Smosh, Key & Peele, Game Changer, Dirty Laundry, Broad City and Breaking News.
For fans of Dropout in particular, this is a rare chance to see so many familiar performers together on a UK stage.
3. Expect a whodunnit with plenty of chaos
Denouement takes the structure of a classic murder mystery and throws improv into the mix.
The performers need to create clues, suspects, motives and twists while reacting instantly to whatever their fellow cast members invent.
The result should be part detective story, part comedy show and part controlled chaos.
Even the cast will not know exactly where the story is heading.
4. There are only six UK performances
Following a sold-out run in Los Angeles, Denouement comes to the UK for a short tour in 2027.
The dates are:
Saturday 29 May 2027 – SEC Armadillo, Glasgow
Sunday 30 May 2027 – Tyne Theatre & Opera House, Newcastle
Tuesday 1 June 2027 – Bristol Beacon, Bristol
Wednesday 2 June 2027 – Symphony Hall, Birmingham
Thursday 3 June 2027 – Brighton Dome Concert Hall, Brighton
Saturday 5 June 2027 – Eventim Apollo, London
The London show at the Eventim Apollo will bring the tour to a close.
5. Tickets go on sale in September
Tickets for the Denouement UK tour go on sale at 10am on Friday 4 September 2026.
With only six UK dates and a cast featuring some of the best-known names from Dropout and modern improv comedy, this could be one of the more unusual comedy tours of 2027.
