Electric Summer at Battersea Power Station is entering its final week, with the free-to-enter summer event running until 31 August 2026. From roller skating and fairground rides to riverside pétanque and rooftop drinks, here are five reasons to visit before it closes.
1. Try the Roller Rink
The summer roller rink has sessions for adults and children, including beginner lessons, Junior Wheelers sessions and roller fitness classes. Skating starts from £8 for children and £12 for adults.
2. Ride the Big Wheel
Take a trip on the 40ft big wheel for views across Battersea and the London skyline. There are also dodgems, a wave swinger and traditional boardwalk-style games.
3. Play Pétanque by the Thames
The Coaling Jetty has been transformed with French Riviera-style pétanque courts overlooking the river. Courts can accommodate up to eight players, with prices starting from £11 per adult.
4. Eat and Drink by the Power Station
Food options include fish and chips from Puffin, loaded chips from Naked Chips and pizza from Street Dough. The Boardwalk Bar also has a rooftop terrace for summer drinks.
5. Visit Before 31 August
Electric Summer ends on 31 August 2026 and is open daily from 10am to 10pm. General entry is free, although some attractions require paid tickets.
