5 Reasons Shantify Could Be London’s Most Fun Musical Night Out This June

After acclaimed runs at the Edinburgh Fringe and in the West End, the high-energy musical comedy Shantify is returning to London for a two-week season at Underbelly Boulevard Soho this June.

1. It turns famous songs into sea shanties

The show reimagines everything from pop hits and rock classics to musical theatre favourites as full-blown sea shanties, creating a hilarious and feel-good live music experience.

2. The soundtrack includes huge artists

Audiences can expect nautical takes on songs by Dolly Parton, Bon Jovi, Beyoncé and Robbie Williams alongside West End show tunes.

3. The cast is packed with West End performers

The company features performers from major productions including Les Misérables, Jersey Boys, The Choir of Man and The Play That Goes Wrong.

4. It’s described as “Fisherman’s Friends meets Choir of Man”

With comedy, audience energy and rich vocal harmonies, Shantify blends pub singalong atmosphere with theatrical performance for a lively night out in Soho.

5. Tickets start from just £15

The show runs from 3–14 June 2026 at Underbelly Boulevard Soho, with evening and weekend matinee performances available.
