5 Things to Know About the Rainbow Kitten Surprise 2026 UK Tour and New Single ‘Sixteen’

The genre-bending live sensations are back. From a sold-out world tour to a surprise new track, here is the lowdown on Rainbow Kitten Surprise (RKS) as they prepare to hit the UK this summer.

After the massive success of their 2025 album Bones, Atlantic Records’ breakout stars Rainbow Kitten Surprise have just dropped a gift for their fans: the anthemic new single, “Sixteen.” If you haven’t caught the buzz yet, here are five things you need to know about the track and their upcoming journey across the UK and Ireland.

1. ‘Sixteen’ is the Ultimate Fan Favourite

If you’ve been following the Bones World Tour on social media, you’ve likely heard snippets of this track already. After months of teasing it during their live sets to widespread fan approval, the band has finally shared the recorded version. It’s a shout-it-from-the-rooftops anthem featuring frontwoman Ela Melo’s signature piercing vocals and powerful, raw guitars.

2. A Song About Triumph and Memory

Despite the high-energy sound, the meaning behind “Sixteen” is deeply poetic. According to the band, the song explores the idea of a “fantasy life” while also touching on a more universal theme: triumph over death and the idea that we all live on through the memories of others long after our prime.

3. The ‘Bones’ World Tour is a Global Sell-Out

RKS are a true live sensation. Every single night of their current tour has sold out so far, from Brooklyn Paramount to the Dallas Bomb Factory. By the time they reach the UK in May and June, the band will be performing at the very top of their game.

4. Major UK & Ireland Tour Dates

The UK and Ireland leg of the tour kicks off in late May and hits some of the most iconic rooms in the country, including a massive finale at London’s O2 Academy Brixton.
