Rising country-pop sensation Harleymoon Kemp is back — and she’s bringing all the sisterhood vibes with her brand new single ‘My Girls (Love Me Better)’, out 10th October. Here’s everything you need to know about her latest empowering track that’s already turning heads across the BBC and beyond.
1. It’s All About the Power of Friendship
Forget heartbreak ballads — Harleymoon’s new single celebrates the besties who’ve always got your back. Written in Nashville, ‘My Girls (Love Me Better)’ is, in her words, “for the girls who tell you you’re pretty when you ugly cry, dance with you on tables, and start a riot if anyone breaks your heart.”
2. BBC Radio 2’s Bob Harris Gave It an Exclusive First Play
Before it even hit streaming platforms, the track earned an exclusive premiere on Bob Harris’s BBC Radio 2 show on 9th October — with major BBC Breakfast features lined up next. Not bad for a rising country star making waves both sides of the Atlantic.
3. From Party in the Park to Going Viral
It’s been a massive year for Harleymoon. Her duet with Ronan Keating at BBC Radio 2’s Party in the Park wowed a crowd of 35,000, while her heartfelt song ‘What Good Looks Like’ went viral — racking up 5.6 million views in just a week and earning praise from Jessie J, who called it “beautiful, honest songwriting.”
4. A Star of Stage and Screen
Fans will see even more of her this autumn when she stars alongside her brother Roman Kemp in BBC’s Celebrity Race Across The World, later this year. The show promises laughter, chaos and plenty of sibling rivalry.
5. Her Nashville-Backed Career Is Just Getting Started
With her debut single ‘Space’ topping the UK Country Chart, playlist love from Absolute Radio Country, and her first headline UK tour on the horizon, Harleymoon is proving she’s one of Britain’s most exciting new voices. Oh — and she’s also the daughter of Spandau Ballet’s Martin Kemp and Wham!’s Shirlie Holliman.
