1. All the food is included — and there’s a lot of it
You won’t have to pay extra for fancy restaurants on board — they’re all included. That means more than 20 places to eat, from Korean BBQ to vegan tasting menus. There’s no buffet, no fixed dining times, and no dress code. Just turn up and eat what you fancy.
2. Soft drinks are free, alcohol is extra
Your fare covers still and sparkling water, sodas, juices, tea and regular coffee. But if you want a beer, wine, cocktails or a flat white from the coffee bar, you’ll need to pay. They offer a prepaid Bar Tab which gives you bonus credit — worth considering if you plan to drink a bit.
3. Tips and service charges? Already included
One of the best bits: all your tips are included in the price. No extra charges at the end of the trip. No awkward tipping moments. Just relax and enjoy the service — it’s all covered.
4. Free Wi-Fi comes as standard
Basic Wi-Fi is included for everyone — good enough for email, social media and casual browsing. If you want to stream or work while onboard, you can upgrade to faster internet, but most people find the free version fine.
5. Some extras still cost
It’s not quite all-inclusive. You’ll still need to pay for things like:
- Alcoholic drinks and posh coffee
- Spa treatments and tattoos
- Excursions off the ship
- Shopping and casino games
- Premium Wi-Fi
But you won’t be charged for entertainment, shows, fitness classes or entry to the beach club at Bimini (if your cruise goes there).
Virgin Voyages isn’t 100% all-inclusive, but it’s way more inclusive than most cruise lines. No tipping, no hidden dining charges, no stress. If you like the idea of a stylish, adults-only cruise with plenty thrown in, this could be just what you’re looking for.
