The West End elite turned out in force for a dazzling gala night celebrating Stalled, the new musical making its UK premiere at London’s King’s Head Theatre. The night raised funds for The Looking Out Foundation, founded by Grammy-winning artist Brandi Carlile. Here are five highlights from the glittering event

1. A Star-Studded Guest List
The evening brought together some of the biggest names in entertainment, including the legendary Beverley Knight, Boy George, Todrick Hall, Maureen Lipman, Michelle Collins, and Tina Treadwell. Their presence added an extra touch of glamour to an already special night.
2. A Celebration of Stalled’s UK Premiere
Stalled is a heartfelt new musical about mothers, daughters, and moving on, running for a six-week season until Sunday 23 March. With a book and lyrics by Liesl Wilke, music and lyrics by Andy Marsh, and additional contributions from Kyle Puccia, the show is directed by the talented Vikki Stone.
3. An Exclusive Aftershow Party
Following the performance, the stars and guests gathered at Gallipoli restaurant on Upper Street, Islington, for an exclusive aftershow celebration. The lively event saw cast and creatives mingling with VIP guests, making for an unforgettable evening.
4. Supporting a Worthy Cause
The gala night raised funds for The Looking Out Foundation, which champions social justice and equity. Founded by Brandi Carlile, the organisation supports initiatives that empower women, transgender women, and LGBTQIA+ individuals, using the power of music to drive meaningful change.
5. A Message of Inclusion and Hope
Gloria Goeres, Executive Director of The Looking Out Foundation, expressed gratitude for the support, saying: “We celebrate this opportunity to join the efforts of Stalled in striving for inclusion, hope, and forgiveness for all.” The night was a testament to the transformative power of theatre and its ability to make a difference beyond the stage.
