2. From The White House, V&A, Tate Modern and now OMNi – see Jon Burgerman’s wacky pop art at London’s newest gallery
Artist Jon Burgerman’s works, known for their childlike exuberance, have made their way into the collections of institutions such as The Science Museum, The Tate Modern, and The Victoria and Albert Museum. Burgerman’s works have also been featured in collaborations with popular brands such as Apple, Samsung, and Nike. His latest exhibition, Sim City, showcases his instantly distinctive characters and candy-flavored hues in maximalist works that examine the paradoxes of contemporary life. The exhibition will run until 27 April at OMNI in London. Burgerman’s journey is best summarized in his own words: “Any idiot can put eyes on things. Can I be that idiot?”
