You may not be aware that charities purchase spaces in the event in advance. This means that they have a limited amount of opening for people to take part in the activities with the representation of them. They have minimum amounts that you have to raise in order to be able to do this. However, this doesn’t mean that you can’t take part and raise money on an individual basis. In fact, you’re actually saving them money as they haven’t had the need to purchase the space and you’re still raising funds for their cause. After the small fees for having you take part in the activities, the money that you raise will be mostly profit and then be going directly to the charity providing a boost to their donations.

With a charity event, you will not only get a sense of achievement from finishing, but you will also gain a purpose for doing so. Often if you, a family member or friend has been affected by something that a charity fights for, you will feel like you’re doing your best to support those who have been affected as well as the charity itself. People are very often motivated by the memory of a lost loved one, you could also see that other family members or friends also want to train and compete alongside you.
