5 things to do at The Randolph Hotel, Oxford

5 things to do at the famous Randolph hotel in Oxford.

One

Choose from the three course set menu or the A la Carte in the Randolph’s Acanthus restaurant. We had excellent food of cod cheeks, pork cheeks and trout. The dining room was impressive and vast giving a nod to the Oxford colleges. Before you dine have a drink in the Morse bar.

Two

Spend time looking at all the famous  faces that have stayed at the Randolf hotel in the past. This famous hotel had attracted many a celebrity from stage, screen and writing.

Three

Wake up early to make the most of breakfast. Full English is available as are specials such as John Ross Jr smoked salmon with free range scrambled eggs. A cold buffet table is also available. What a change ordering a freshly cooked breakfast rather than helping yourself which is much more usual in the hotel breakfast.

Four

Step outside and be impressed with your location. The Randolph Hotel couldn’t be anymore central. You are minutes from Oxford’s main attractions. The hop on hop off bus stops just outside the hotel if this is your thing. Famous pubs such as The Eagle and Child are a stones throw away.

Five

If you arrive by car then you can take advantage of the Randolph’s parking service. Simply pull up outside, hand over your key and that’s it. Say goodbye to your car until you leave. We liked the fact that there was no set time to collect your car. All very relaxed and easy and saves the hassle of hunting down a place to park.
