Tredwells: Have breakfast at Marcus Wareing’s latest restaurant situated in London’s Covent Garden
Today we were invited to try out the new breakfast menu at Marcus Wareing’s relatively new restaurant, Tredwells in Covent Garden
Tredwells brands itself as ‘modern London cooking’ and is situated on Upper St Martin’s Lane in London’s Covent Garden.
Here are 5 things to do today at breakfast at Tredwells restaurant.
One: Choose a smoothie from the menu. We opted for the power house and the green ginger goddess – had quite a kick by all accounts. Two: Choose a dish from menu. There are some really interesting breakfast items here from egg white frittatas to prawn benedict. We opted for bacon and eggs on toasted sourdough and bacon and fried egg on a brioche bun. Three: Have a caffeine fix with your food. We just had two white coffees but we could have had such fixes as Iced Earl Grey and citrus tea or cold brew colada – with dairy free coconut mouse.Four: Admire the large clock fixed to the wall just to the right of main downstairs bar. This clock is huge and elaborate to say the least.
Five: Be tempted to book a table for dinner or return for a cocktail or two. Tredwells has a very elaborate menu with some excellent sounding cocktails. They also have live Jazz on Friday and Saturday nights which Tredwells is a perfect venue for.
Tredwells is a very smart venue and when we visited on a Sunday morning was relaxed and quiet. This restaurant is full in the evenings and it won’t be long before you are queuing for breakfast too. Go now!
