5 Things to Try on Black Sheep Coffee’s Winter Menu, From Gingerbread Matcha to a Pigs in Blankets Ciabatta

Christmas 2026 | Food and Drink | From 4 November

The festive coffee season is officially here. Black Sheep Coffee has launched its Winter 2026 menu in branches nationwide, with returning gingerbread favourites, a brand-new white chocolate range and some seriously festive sandwiches. Here are five things to try.

1. Gingerbread Latte and Gingerbread Matcha

The much-loved gingerbread range is back for winter. You can choose between the classic Gingerbread Latte and the Gingerbread Matcha, which gives the green tea trend a festive twist. Both are available hot or iced, so they work whether you want to warm up on a cold morning or prefer your coffee chilled all year round. They’re a great alternative to the usual high street Christmas drinks.

2. The new White Chocolate range

New for this year, white chocolate is being added across the menu. There’s a White Chocolate Latte for a festive take on a classic coffee, plus White Chocolate Matcha, White Chocolate Hojicha and White Chocolate Chai. Hojicha is a roasted Japanese green tea with a toasty, nutty flavour, so it’s worth trying if you haven’t had it before. All four come hot or iced.

3. Pigs in Blankets Ciabatta

For a heartier winter lunch, the Pigs in Blankets Ciabatta puts a Christmas dinner classic at the centre of a toasted sandwich. It’s warming, filling and perfect for a festive shopping break. Pair it with one of the gingerbread drinks and you’ve got Christmas in a coffee shop. Expect this to be a popular one in December.

4. Brie and Cranberry Ciabatta

If you prefer a vegetarian option, the Brie and Cranberry Ciabatta is a festive favourite, combining creamy brie with sweet cranberry in toasted bread. It’s a classic combination that never gets old at Christmas. For something sweet, the new Gingerbread Muffin adds warming seasonal spice to the bakery counter. Both are ideal with a white chocolate latte.

5. A coffee brand that does things differently

Black Sheep Coffee was founded in 2013 by Eirik Holth and Gabriel Shohet, who quit their jobs on the same day to take on boring coffee. They became the “black sheep” of the coffee world by championing specialty-grade 100% Robusta beans when everyone else was going Arabica. The co-founders say winter is their chance to have some fun with the menu. Prices start from £3.59 and may vary by location.
