Christmas Gift Ideas | From £6.99
Miniature model making and Book Nooks are one of the hobbies of the moment. Craft Buddy has launched Li’l Worlds, a new collection of miniature kits that lets crafters build, collect and display their own tiny worlds. Here are five reasons they’d make a brilliant Christmas present.
1. Much-loved characters in miniature
The collection includes adorable Hello Kitty rooms and magical Harry Potter creations, as well as enchanting fantasy scenes inspired by artist Anne Stokes. There are also Craft Buddy’s own original designs. Having favourite characters in the range makes it easy to find a kit to suit the person you’re buying for. Young Potter fans in particular will love building their own little corner of the wizarding world.
2. Great for beginners
Co-founder Gary Wadhwani says many miniature kits on the market are complicated or time-consuming, which can put beginners off. Li’l Worlds is designed so anyone can enjoy it, whether they’re new to the hobby or already love crafting. That makes it a safe choice if you’re not sure how experienced the recipient is. It’s an easy way to get into a very popular hobby.
3. Quick builds or hours of fun
The range covers different ages, interests and abilities. Some builds can be finished in just a few minutes, while more intricate kits offer hours of hands-on fun. The collection includes Li’l Character Worlds, Li’l Rooms, NookBox, NookScene and NookScape, each offering a different experience. It’s a lovely screen-free activity for the Christmas holidays.
4. Something to display afterwards
The fun doesn’t stop once the last piece is in place. Each finished creation becomes a miniature display piece, perfect for a bedroom shelf or a desk, and the Book Nooks slot between books on a bookshelf like a tiny secret world. Because they’re collectable, they’re great for building up over time. They also make a nice ongoing gift idea for birthdays.
5. A price for every budget
Kits start at just £6.99, making the smaller ones ideal stocking fillers or Secret Santa gifts. The more detailed builds go up to £39.99 for a bigger main present. With such a range of designs, build times and prices, there’s something for creative minds of all ages. They’re available now from Craft Buddy’s website.
