5 Reasons to Book Christmas Wonderland at Brick Lane Music Hall This Festive Season

Christmas 2026 | 19 November – 19 December

Looking for a Christmas outing with a touch of old-fashioned magic? Brick Lane Music Hall, the world’s only permanent home for music hall, is transforming into a festive wonderland for Christmas Wonderland, an all-new celebration of music, comedy and variety served with a festive meal. Here are five reasons to book.

1. A brand-new festive show

This year’s production includes a playful nativity-inspired medley of Christmas favourites seen from a child’s point of view, including “All I Want for Christmas Is My Two Front Teeth”. There’s also a festive tap-dancing set from special guest Katie Lewis, a Scottish medley from pantomime favourite Andrew Robley, plus carols and classic Christmas pop hits, all delivered with music hall’s trademark humour and silliness.

2. Award-winning food

Food and performance go hand in hand here, and the venue won Best Food and Drink (People’s Choice) at the 2026 Fringe Theatre Awards. Choose from an afternoon tea with turkey sandwiches and mince pies, a three-course Christmas lunch, or an evening dinner with all the trimmings, including Christmas pudding and brandy sauce. New Christmas cocktails have been added this year too.

3. A talented cast

The show is hosted by founder Vincent Hayes MBE, with a cast including Lucy Reed and Ross Tomlinson, Kate Macadam (Carousel in Concert) and Eirik Dahlen (Bat Out of Hell, Les Mis). Musical director Scott Hayes and costume designer Zara Kattan were both recognised at this year’s Fringe Theatre Awards.

4. Dancing until midnight

Evening performances include a three-course dinner, the show and dancing until midnight, which makes it a brilliant alternative office Christmas party. Group rates are available for 30 or more.

5. A slice of London history

Vincent Hayes started out in the back room of a Bethnal Green pub in the 1980s, before opening on Brick Lane in 1992 with the support of stars like Danny La Rue and Barbara Windsor. Now in Silvertown, the venue keeps the spirit of those early music hall nights alive. Last year’s Christmas show earned five-star reviews.
